Danube Properties, the UAE's affordable housing pioneer and one of its most dynamic and popular private developers, has appointed Naresco Contracting LLC as main contractor for Skyz Tower, a Mediterranean-themed high-rise with elegantly designed apartments, retail outlets and recreational facilities, and a development value of more than Dh475 million.

The Project

Skyz will be built on a 67,837.39 sq ft plot in Arjan, close to Miracle Garden with easy access to Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, overlooking Miracle Garden, Arabian Ranches and Motor City. Its affordable homes come with Danube's trend-setting 1 percent payment plan, helping middle-income tenants and end users buy their dream homes.

The Dubai-based developer's current portfolio comprises 8,272 homes with a combined development value of more than Dh5.65 billion, and it has delivered 4,556 units with a combined sales value of Dh3.63 billion, nearly two-thirds of the portfolio's value.

A main contractor builds a project to the developer's timeline and specifications, is legally bound to deliver it complete, on time and to quality, and usually hires sub-contractors and suppliers. Naresco Contracting will build and deliver Skyz by the end of Q3 2024.

Mediterranean Living in the Sky

Skyz offers a retail arcade, games room, kids' play area, health club, outdoor gym, infinity pool, lily pool with water beds, kids' pool, outdoor jacuzzi, viewing deck, paddle tennis, gazebo, outdoor seating, water features, BBQ area, jacuzzi lounge, party hall with billiards room, business centre and a Sky Jogging Track.

The concept is a new residential destination celebrating Mediterranean living, maximising usable outdoor space through balconies, terraces, gardens, parks and plazas. The tower is designed to let in maximum light and views and to create a series of "external gardens" around the building, linked by an informal route with outdoor pools and recreation areas at various levels.

The Sky Jogging Track, a first in the region, is an elevated track for residents that complements the health club, gym and pool, reflecting Danube's focus on helping homeowners live healthy lives.
