In a move set to transform the path to property ownership, Danube Properties is proud to join a landmark initiative from the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET): the Dubai First-Time Home Buyer Programme. This strategic collaboration is designed to lower the barriers for first-time buyers, Emiratis and expatriates alike, entering Dubai's thriving property market.

Making Homeownership Accessible

Owning a home in Dubai's culturally rich, secure and cosmopolitan environment has long been an aspiration for many, and this initiative is making it more achievable. The programme gives first-time buyers early access to new developments, special commercial terms and financing tailored to their needs. Eligible buyers will receive priority access to our most anticipated launches and exclusive commercial terms designed specifically for first-time purchasers.

The scheme reflects Dubai's wider vision of a housing ecosystem where affordability meets quality. Its structure is clear, its requirements transparent and its benefits designed for long-term sustainability, giving first-time buyers a simple, well-supported route to owning a home in one of Dubai's freehold areas.

Eligibility and Financing

The programme is open to UAE residents of all nationalities aged 18 and over who do not already own freehold property in Dubai. To make financing more accessible, five leading banks, Emirates NBD, Dubai Islamic Bank, Mashreq, Commercial Bank of Dubai and Emirates Islamic, are offering mortgage solutions designed specifically for first-time buyers.

The initiative is part of the forward-looking Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, which aim to create a more inclusive, welcoming city for residents and investors. By making a first home more attainable, it reflects the government's commitment to inclusive growth and social stability, and it supports economic stability by helping long-term residents move from renting to owning and invest directly in the city's future.
