Pearlz by Danube was 100% sold out on day one of Danube's participation at Expo 2020.

Danube's reputation for reliability has risen further with continuous, on-time deliveries, reinforcing its standing as one of the UAE's most successful developers with the highest launch-to-delivery ratio.

Dubai, 28 March 2022: Danube Properties, the affordable housing pioneer and one of the UAE's most dynamic and popular private developers, has announced that its newly launched residential project, Pearlz, received a huge response at Expo 2020 Dubai, with large numbers of Indian expats crowding the Danube Properties pavilion.

Sold Out on Day One

Danube sold 100% of the Pearlz inventory, 300 homes plus retail and recreational facilities with a development value of more than Dh300 million, on the first day of its participation at the expo. It also recently delivered its ambitious Lawnz project to more than 1,000 buyers.

Mr Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, said: "While Expo 2020 has successfully carried forward its mission of connecting people I am happy to inform everyone that one of my personal favorites "Pearlz" has received overwhelming response at this expo. We have successfully sold out the complete launched inventory of the project. At Danube Properties our belief since the starting has been to deliver projects on time without any compromise on quality aspects. While sticking to our commitments has always given us good results, I take this opportunity to thank all those who have been involved and have made contributions in making 'Pearlz' a huge success for Danube."

To make the deal more attractive for Indian investors keen on a second home in Dubai, Danube will provide fully furnished apartments at Pearlz. The project will be built in Al Furjan, close to Ibn Battuta Mall with easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road and Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, and its affordable homes come with Danube's trend-setting 1 percent payment plan.

Momentum Builds

Pearlz is the first real estate project launched in the UAE in 2022, and Danube's second within five months of launching the Dh475 million Skyz in Arjan in October 2021. After the success of Skyz, Lawnz and Pearlz, Danube Group is on a launch spree and has set its sights on new projects in Dubai Marina and Downtown, two of the city's most prominent freehold areas.

The Dubai property market continues to be led by end users, supported by economic reforms, lower interest and mortgage rates, loan-to-value ratios, the Golden Visa and 100% ownership rights for expats to live, work and trade in Dubai. Together with the UAE's successful handling of the pandemic, these have made the country a safe haven for investors and entrepreneurs.

Expo 2020, closing within a week, has given the UAE economy a major boost, and the country's leaders aim to sustain the momentum with more opportunities and a real estate boom ahead. Property prices have risen 30–35% over the past six months, yet Dubai remains cheaper than many major international hubs such as Hong Kong and London.
